Utopias Salon

Utopias Salon was a project I set up in Cardiff with Calum Gardner. It was a series of events designed to provide a space to explore ideas about what a ‘good’ society might look like. People have envisioned utopia in different ways over the centuries, but today it seems more important than ever that we revitalise utopian thinking and open our imaginations to better possible worlds. The salon included fiction and non-fiction readings, seminars on different aspects of society¬† – such as food systems, education and fashion – exploring how they work now and how they might work in a good society, and artistic events.
